Koko “The Curious”

Posted on

Koko, the domestic shorthair, has been spending time with me here in Brookland, Washington, D.C.   She is, because of the increased traffic in my burgeoning neighborhood, a house cat.  Still,  she finds windows and viewing and squeaky mouse toys to her liking.

She does some television viewing,  “The Defenders,”   and while she is not a regular watcher of “Game of Thrones,” she is every bit a queen.    Her favorite perch it would seem is on my lap while I sit at my desk.   She is curious about everything. – the contractors, mail delivery,  traffic and birds that perch on my windows.

Aprl 29 Keegan Michael-Key and Jordan Peele’s new movie “Keani” comes to theaters nationwide. Of course  the comic geniuses have chosen wisely to focus their first full-length  film .on a cat – Keanu.  The precious kitty is kidnapped by gangsters and Key and Peele go through great lengths to rescue Keanu.

Here’s  the trailer  for the flick.  Yes, KoKo and Jean Claude are excited and looking forward to seeing the film eventually – maybe at a cat cafe in DC.

Koko and Jean Claude love the views from the windows of my house in Brookland, D.C.    They can be found peering out of windows all over my house, depending on the time of day and their mood.   Most mornings, Jean Claude will simply pat on the blinds of my rear view window when he wants me to rise them for his viewing pleasure.  Ocassionally we have had some mishaps – blinds have fallen down or Jean Claude has made a few adjustments.
